I Don’t Get It
I cannot understand why some contractors make life harder on themselves. It’s almost as if they think that, the more difficulties they have, the better they are at their jobs. For instance, I actually knew a guy who used sand almost everyday for his business, but he never put a hydraulic wet kit on one of his trucks. So, he would get the sand, bring it back to the job site, and then have to pay a guy to stand in or by the truck and shovel sand out. Seriously, he could have saved himself a lot of time and money if he just purchased a hydraulic lift and took care of the sand that way. I don’t know… maybe he gets paid by the hour or something.
