Can you believe that I went to school in a one-room school house with a big old Pot Belly Stove in the center of the room? It was the boys’ job to bring in wood periodically for the teacher to keep the fire stoked and the heat pouring into the room. If you sat next to that monster, you almost cooked from its heat, but if you had the misfortune of being on the outside row, you nearly froze on very cold days. I had turns at both and definitely preferred being too warm to being too cold. Those were the days, and the memories still warm me today.

Last week I was putting deck stain on my deck when I saw a few bugs. It was very early in the morning and I started to notice a few more after a while of staining. They were very big and now they are eating a lot of our flowers and things. I thought maybe the deck stain would repel them, but they do not seem to care about the smell at all. I have heard that this has been a recent problem for many people and that they are worried for their gardens. I have to say that I have not been worried so much.

When I started to look for a vacation home, I immediately thought of Thailand. I had visited there once and had loved it so much that finding Thailand property there was like a dream come true. I look forward to going every year and I am so excited for my next trip. Having a place like Thailand where I can escape to when I really need to is a great help to me.

I have seen the cabinet of my dreams in one antique shop. It was truly something that I love so much and I never ever want to let it go. I am sure that things will be so much better if I make sure that I will get it. And sure I did. There is only one problem though, the Cabinet knobs are broken. I am really thinking that it is better to have the Cabinet Knobs removed and never replace them since the beauty of the cabinet might be altered. However, I was lucky enough to have found Cabinet Knobs that would truly fit it.

There are a number of companies that do this kind of service. Surely, your room will be looking good as new. I have mine customized to fit my main windows at the bedroom.
