So I was set to drive up north to visit my nephew, I had the car all packed up, the tire pressure checked, oil and water checked and the fuel tank topped up. Of course this was in the car from the car hire company as I did not have one of my own. It had been several months since I had seen my nephew so I really was looking forward to seeing how much he had grown and what new things he could do, if he was walking or talking or any new thing like that. It will be a treat if he can say my name already.

My kids are so accomplished that I just have to do some bragging about them.  My daughter is only 23 years old and is already fully self sufficient, has a lovely home and a wonderful baby daughter, and also makes quite an impressive dental assistant salary in her job.  My son is the one who inspired her to take this path since he is himself a dentist.  They both went to the local state university where they won scholarships and worked part time jobs through their whole school careers.  My kids graduated with honors and I am the proudest mom.

My Aunt disappeared during a camping trip several years ago. An exhaustive search was made of the area she camped in, but no trace of her was ever found. Given that she was so close to her family and had no reason to want to disappear, the family all believe that she had an accident and is dead. We decided to petition to have her declared legally dead by asking for State of California death records. We will then have a memorial service for her. Every family deserves closure, and this way, we can say goodbye to her and honor her memory.
