Reflexology Treatment: Can This Replace Traditional Medical Procedures?

When Eunice Ingham formulated Reflexology as a therapy for maintaining health, it really was not meant to be a complete alternative to the more traditional procedures that Medicine has come up with.

Although doctors believe what Ingham has researched, that stress is the cause of most health problems, they do not believe that reflexology treatment is the answer to all. However, they do accept this as an adjutant therapy with other medical procedures. Until now, doctors agree that Reflexology is more of a palliative therapy, one which only deals with and eradicates symptoms rather than the actual disease or illness.

If you are suffering from any medical condition, it would be best that you consult your doctor first before you start a session just to be sure that you are not contraindicated in any way to go on with it.
