I was discussing my career with my mom. We were going over the likes and dislikes of certain jobs. I told my mom that I really wanted to succeed in my field, but I needed to get additional training to become qualified for the next level. I told my mom that I tried to get into another division so that I could get the training. My mom is the best at career advice, and she advised me that I needed to learn to sell myself. She further went on to explain what I should concentrate on and how to present my skills better.
